On Wednesday Nov 2,2005 PADI Divemasters Dean M. Carroll & Darryl
Hubbard & PADI Open water Diver Jason Butler were guests of Dr.
Carolyn Jones Public Relations class at the College of New Rochelle
in New York City were they gave a video presentation of their summer
adventure to dive the Ghost Fleet of the WW2 Japanese Imperial Navy
at Truk Lagoon. At the time of the video presentation 100% of Dr. Jones students were non-divers and had no idea where Chuuk, Micronesia was on the map and about Operation Hailstone. Dr Jones students were spellbound on the sheer beauty of the undersea coral reefs on the wrecks, Japanese Army Tanks on the main deck of the San Francisco Maru and why Black Tip Sharks on the San Francisco Maru didn’t attack the divers.
