Name: J9 on West coast CommentsHi Dean, Glad you all had a wonderful trip. Wish I was there!
Name: Carolyn Jones CommentsIt would be nice if I could conquer my fear of large bodies of water and large fish; however, a whale watch is about all my nerves can stand. I'll live vicariously through you all and support and promote your efforts any way I can. Stay beautiful!!!
Name: Mario Matthews CommentsThis was a fantastic adventure. The finest trip I've ever taken.
Name: michael anthony CommentsBrother Dean! Man, you put together an awesome trip, everything was first class, allI had to do was fall in the water & equalize! Palau & Truk were spectacular, and I was so thrilled to secure a spot on that trip, and I cannot say enough great things about the Truk Odyssey, their staff & crew. Great diving with you my friend, let's have more trips like this in the future! michael anthony v.p. mask/detroit www.maskdivers.org
Name: Vernon Beard CommentsDean, Great work. I like your style. Take care, Vernon
Name: Veronica Jackson CommentsI heard nothing but great things about your trip. Hopefully I can make the next one. Veronica Jackson-Treasurer, Michigan African-American Scuba Klub (MASK), www.maskdivers.org
Name: cassandra warnsley CommentsI received this information from Blacknew.com. This is an awesome website, I have never ever heard of such an organization.Your organization needs to be more known to the black communities. Our kids need to know who you are and what a fabulous journey all of you are traveling. This is very inspiring. This will kill all the jokes that comedians make about black people being afraid of the water. This might help alot of those African American people who are still afraid of the waters, get over their fear. They now have people of color to recognize with. You need to be known about. All of you look so beautiful in your scuba gear. Pls continue on making history.
Name: Jim Hoskins CommentsThanks Dean, great show...keep me informed...jim hoskins...
Name: James BB Austin CommentsI was in the US Armu for over 22 years and have dove many location around the world, and to see a Blackperson diving was rare and a thrill to see. I spent most of my military career over seas and in El Paso where diving in the desert was just a few watering hole, Blue Hole, Santa Rosa NM. I started diving in Virginia another mud hole .. Now a car wash drain. after viewing on TV .. the famous Sea Hunt. Equipment was hard to come by. Training for Black Folk was not in the agenda. So, most of my self taught training was from books that I checked out from the Charlottesville's city libary. Anyway, to say all this is that I am proud to see an organization doing something for the good. I would love to come out there and particiapate in a few dives with your orgainization. Thanks and Keep up the Diving .. James
Name: Mukama Malibe Magina CommentsI will be happy if I'will be one of your member. So please let me be the one.
Name: John Talley CommentsI am a current member of M.A.S.K. in Detroit. The media coverage (a feature article in the Detroit News daily newspaper) of the Truk trip has done a great deal to pump up interest in scuba diving among local African-Americans. Your club is to be commented for putting the trip together. See you in Barbados. Just look for a black guy with a head FULL of GRAY hair.
Name: david willis CommentsIt feels good seeing african americans diving ,this is something you just dont see much in magazines or tv.
Name: Bertrum CommentsAll seems too racist for my liking - maybe an American thing however I dont see the need for 'black' 'African-American' 'white' or any other seperation in diving circles. Well done though. B

Name: betty Commentsi am interested because you are a black club that may be able to spark interest in young black children. i am in the process of working on a non profit status. i will be working with children from k-12 grades. i want to give them an alternative to gangs and the street. i want to be able to show them an alternative side of life. i want to be able to give them a chance to explore positive/though (foreign to them)life. i would like to introduce them to and help them to visit places they would not otherwise visit. they would have to of course make reports. the site is beautiful and interesting. i think they will like it. helping children are my dream. not just black children, all children. certainly though it is wonderful for your clubs to be at the helm of these great explorations.
